There have been rumours that there won't be any more Doctor Who until 2017!
Really hope some come soon!

New Sonic Screwdriver
So we've had the Christmas Special episode, 'The Husbands of River Song'.
In the last episode, 'Hell Bent', the Doctor goes to Gallifrey, and revives Clara from the dead, possible tearing the fabric of reality, causes a Regeneration of one of the heads of the High Council, FORGETS Clara, and gets a new Sonic Screwdriver!
Lots happening in that episode, then he meets River Song again, who is posing as the husband of 'Hydroflax', and apparently is actually an architect who wants the diamond lodged a few good centimetres into Hydroflax's brain!
She has her own gadget, the Sonic Trowel - it seems to be very effective on the Headless Monks.
Then, near the end, we find out that River's Diary is almost full - which means the end for either River, the Doctor, or maybe even both of them....
And rumour has it that the Singing Towers of Darillium may be the final place that River or the Doctor will visit, which, the Doctor admits, is why he always put it off, or canceled it at the last minute!
The Doctor also gives River Song a present: her very own Sonic Screwdriver.
River's new Sonic Screwdriver resembles the 10th Doctor's Sonic, with the blue light, an the similar structure.
We didn't see much of the new Sonic Screwdriver, but we did see the appearance of the new gadget, the 'Sonic Trowel' - silly, but effective. If searched, it will not pose as a threat.
Now we are waiting for Series 10. There didn't seem to be a trailer at the end of the Christmas Special episode, which suggests that they have not been filmed yet.
